The history of honey is older than history itself.
Bee products are one of the oldest foods in the world. Fossil research shows that bees have been around for at least 150 million years. There are drawings of beekeepers found on the walls of a cave in Spain, proving that beekeeping has been practised for at least 8000 years.
Honey is a natural product made by bees - one of the most important animals on our planet. Bees visit millions of flowers throughout their lives, which makes the process of pollinating plants possible, collecting nectar which after that return to the hive and from which to produce this unique product for us.
Fortunately for us, bees make more honey than their colony needs and because of that beekeepers remove the excess honey and after that, it is bottled by them.
