Iskren Mutafov, 39 years old - from Kubrat, municipality of Razgrad.
As a fourth-generation beekeeper, I grew up among bees from an early age. My bee farm dates back to the tradition of raising bee families from 1943 when my grandfather caught his first swarm. My practical experience goes hand in hand with the latest scientific achievements in beekeeping, as I have a master's degree in Zooengineering, majoring in BEEKEEPING.
Gradually over the years, the number of bees raised by me in the area of village Chervena Voda and village Novo Selo, municipality of Ruse is growing and so far there are over 800 bee families. They are in three biologically certified apiaries, located in forest areas with predominant wild grazing.
